I thought it was probably time I updated this dang thing.

As indicated by some posts on here, I did indeed get married to a very awesome guy (we were engaged for a while, actually, I just don't usually mention such things on DA), and we even have a place to live now! Actually, that last part isn't as much of a joke as I would like it to be, we had an apartment in town all worked out, and then literally at the rehearsal dinner I was calling to confirm with the landlady and she, like, told me it wasn't ready and hung up on me. -_-

So, we did some house siting, then lived with grandparent-in-laws for nearly a month, and apartment searched, finally finding a place we really liked but because we are students, we had to do like, several weeks worth of extra paperwork. <--- test on the relationship right there, but we still love each other.

Living with in-laws it turns out isn't that bad, except that it made the commute to work an hour for me, and two for Joel. But we are now in town, and going to school, and school is good.

I have too many classes (or at least that's how it feels) and I'm trying to get a lot of stuff done concurrently, but it's nice being back, custodial during the summer is never my favorite thing. Right now I'm a TA for a couple classes, doing animal care, and prepping for a lab. I have enjoyed work a lot better already

So now I should probably get back to the unfortunate real world of studying and writing papers, but I figured it was life-update time again.
